There are very few conditions that prevent me from performing reflexology. If during the consultation I feel that I am unable to support you or feel that you should seek further medical advice from a qualified practitioner I will inform you. You will not be charged for the consultation or penalised if the treatment cannot take place. Bookings can be remade if after consulting a medical practitioner the treatment is deemed safe.
-
All clients will be asked to sign a disclaimer as treatment cannot take place until after this has been done. Clients are offered the chance to seek medical advice before signing without additional costs.
-
All prices shown include consultation, treatment, travel expenses and products. No additional charges are added to the session price unless additional treatments are requested by the client.
-
A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of the booking. Outstanding payments should be made at least 7 days prior to the treatment. This can be done via BACs transfer, details on how this can be done will be given in the text confirming the booking. Bookings are not secure and will be released after 24 hours if no deposit has been received.
-
Reflexology is not a cure or a way to diagnose a condition. A client will respond to treatment in their own way and at their own speed. Clients may require many treatments before they feel the benefits of reflexology. There are no limits to the number of "Cleanse and Re-balance" treatments that can be booked and a 10% discount is included with this treatment providing all the terms to qualify for the discount have been met. A full refund will be returned on remaining treatments if the client cannot continue their booked block, provided at least 24 hours notice before the next scheduled treatment has been given. Any treatment that has already been taken within this 4-week period will now be charged at full price and this will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations made within the 24 hour period will not be refunded.
-
It is recommended that clients continue periodic treatments to maintain well-being. The length of time will depend on the client’s individual expectations and requirements, however, at least every three months is recommended. It is the responsibility of the client to contact the therapist to re-book additional sessions.
-
Side effects are likely and seen as a positive and necessary part of the reflexology process. The side effects vary and I will discuss them with you during the consultation. Any side effect should last no longer than 48 hours. In the unlikely event that side effects persist or become extreme it is the client’s responsibility to contact their own professional healthcare provider. The therapist is not responsible for side effects as this is how the body naturally reacts to the treatment.
-
All cancellations/changes to bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Cancellations/ changes (except exceptional circumstances) less than 24 hours noticed will be charged at full rate.
-
All no-show appointments will be charged at full rate. No refund will be given. Clients who have two no shows will not be offered further appointments.
-
I cannot perform reflexology on anyone who is showing signs of fever, intoxication, signs of drug use, diarrhoea or vomiting, signs of Covid 19 or any other infectious disease. If you believe you have any of these before your appointment is due it is your responsibility to contact me to let me know in advance. Failure to do this may result in the treatment being cancelled without refund.
-
I will require a space approximately 2m x 2m to set up a recliner chair, stool and small table. This is the minimum requirements for me to perform treatments safely. The environment should be free from obstacles, distractions and should be at an ambient temperature. If you do not have the required space or environment, please inform me so as an alternative venue can be sought. Failure to provide a safe and comfortable space could result in the therapy being abandoned/ cancelled. Any refund will be at the discretion of the therapist.
-
Please ensure that all mobile phones and other electronic distractions are removed from the treatment area. These can be very distracting for both client and therapist and will prevent you from having a comfortable and relaxed experience. Frequent phone use during the treatment may lead to abandonment without refund.
